Why Tigers in the Jungle live longer than lions on the savanna

Funny thing happened this week.

I mentioned it happened last month too.

Two guys doing the SAME thing inside Brother’s Keeper. With me giving them the SAME response.

But both ending in different consequences.

How is that possible?

I’ll answer in a bit. First let’s imagine the Tiger in the Jungle.

Bright striped tigers typically live in rain forests and swamps. Green landscapes where anything orange pops out easily. Yet the solitary Tiger is still king of the Jungle as top predator who still sneaks up on prey without any trouble.

A major threat hidden in plain sight.I bring this up because that is the skill you must have to survive in the new world.

The “Moan-Ass-Fear” and dumb Alphas want you to shout your values on the mountaintops. They want you to tell every one your thoughts, opinions, and feelings and to Not GAF. Thing is that does not work.

You lose your job.

You become a social pariah.

You go to jail.

You die.

And it defeats the purpose of being a man.

Hard to take care of the people you love when you have no money, are ostracized to build another business, trapped in jail or worse. All cases where you are powerless. Practically dead.

Your objective life is DO NOT DIE. In any sense. Hard to take care of the people you love when you have no money, are ostracized to build another business, trapped in jail or worse. All cases where you are powerless. Practically dead.

Solution. Rather simple. Stay smart and vigilant and make the best moves that put you in a position to thrive in spite of the controversy. Discretion is key. Have your values, but do not broadcast them in the wrong space. Focus instead on how to move through the world without being a victim of it.

Easier than you think. You are not born free. You fight to claim it. Those loud types are slaves pretending to be free. Slaves to their emotions.

You want to be a slave to your ambition. When you reach new levels of freedom where consequences do not harm you, do what you like. Til then invest every moment becoming the best you can be.

Stop yourself from sending that tweet you know will get you suspended.

Stop yourself from calling a client a “cunt”.

Stop yourself from street-fighting guys who disagree with you.

Back to Brother’s Keeper.

Last month I kicked someone because he could not get the above lesson. It was costing him money, and social clout which leads to more money, but he refused to learn something more effective. He lacked the humble gene

.Last week I kept a brother because he shared his mistake. He realized it was not worth it. He is open to mastering discretion and concealment so he stays alive til reaching his larger goals.Which is two lessons in one.

Be private while in public so you are not a target.

Be humble to learn what you don’t know you don’t know.

It’s a mad-mad world outside. Play to win. Winning in this case is not to get involved. Not to be a proud lonely loser (whatever that means).

Be like the ferocious Tiger in the Jungle. A controlled force of power, not hiding, but not broadcasting his moves so he can pounce on opportunity without scaring his environment. Probably why they live longer than lions. Who knows.

Fact remains.

Get smart.
