Earlier this year I brought my car to the shop.
Realized it will probably cost $1K in repairs. Did not think much of it. In fact, I was grateful since I could afford to cover the bill. Love that.
Then I thought... I can afford to buy a new car, if I feel the repairs are not worth it. All in cash. And replace the investment in a new 2dr coupe within the month, one way or another.
That is when I realized, my old life of being homeless in NY is far behind me.
January 2020 will forever be the last time I question if I can do anything. Or how to get the funds to do it.
I bring this up because 2020 was a terrible year for most people.
They did not have the means to keep their lifestyle. Their 9-5 would not keep letting them work so they resorted to Unemployment. Maybe they could keep their job, but they could not eat out and travel like they once did.
Their life changed because of circumstances they could not control.
So it goes.
But these folk at the whims of a new world, are not victims. They had every chance to shift gears well before these "hard" times.
A life of outsourcing their income to a 9-5, outsourcing their happiness to what they were allowed to do outside, and outsourcing their thinking to the dumb powers that be, led them into a situation where they did not know what to do for themselves.
Why is that?
It's because their identity is tied to servitude. They want to serve and follow others. IN and of itself is not a bad thing. Only dangerous when you the person or system you follow does not have your best interest at heart.
Gub'nit does not GAF bout you.
That is why the people above now HAVE TO rely on the system.
It would be sad if it was not so avoidable.
Regardless of what you think about Lockdown, survival instincts is ALL-WAYS a distinct advantage. Stems from the Greatest distinct advantage you have right now. The ability to think for yourself.
Not something practiced or encouraged these days. Yet it is still legal to do.
Right now it is essential work.
Question where you get your ideas from, where you get your money from, question me and my broadcasts, question who is telling you what and why, question everyone and every thing.
Those suffering did not question a damn thing, and it shows.
Those of us happy in 2021, making money, considering big purchases, dating, traveling, and wondering where to move next, we thought it all through Because we questioned the who, what, where, when, why, and how.
This is less a tip, and more preaching to the choir.
I know you think for yourself.
I challenge you to keep vigilant.
