Story time. This must have been 11th grade in high school. Way back when Young Knox was about hosting events, writing TV news, and saving the world. Not that much changed since then. Anywhats… I was selected for some elite education program, maybe an award or scholarship was involved. All I remember is I was chosen among 3 students, and only 2 of of us would get the prize and title. I thought nothing of it. Didn’t prepare. Didn’t tell anyone. Didn’t take it seriously at all. Not sure why though, but at that point in my life I rarely made an effort or applied my genius. I was just smart for the sake of being smart. Which is really dumb. The day of the event I showed up and they asked me a simple question: “Who is Knox?” I was stumped and bullshit my way through poorly. First time I ever had to think of myself in any specific way. In that moment I knew 2 things: 1β I was going to lose and deserved it; and 2β I have no clue who I am or why I matter. Instantly I quit bullshitting and blundered through the rest of the interview stuck on the first question, which affected how I responded to later questions. Shameful experience that I needed. Since then I’ve never taken an Introduction for granted. I studied persuasion, marketing, sales, charisma, behavioural psychology, and more. Still to this day I’m learning to fine-tune what I know and pass it along toΒ whomever can benefit. Like my brother Simon. He’s a tax-expert who wants to be seen and heard. Reached out to me to improve his Introduction and pitches. The next day he was booked for a tax show episode. He already gets his clients Great results each year. Now he’ll broaden his reach to more people who want similar results. Not to mention build a deep bond with the show host and team who will definitely want to have him on again and again. That’s only one way leverage who you are to get what you want. All that gain for basically telling someone your name. If you’re struggling to know who you are, like I did at 16-ish, read this now. https://knoxuniversity.com/take-charge If you think you’re ready to take what you know about yourself to the next level, reply with your Introduction showing me who you are. I’ll gladly help you find a few shows to broadcast your genius and how to pitch them so they HAVE TO choose you over another guest. Β Β Β Be well, Β Β Β Β Β Β β Old Knox |
