Building a unified team is a difficult thing. It’s more than friends hanging out for fun. It’s a culture with understood traditions and shared values. Takes the right combination to get a tribe solid in itself and sustainable. I tell this to my brothers in Brotherhood Wednesday often. We have the opportunity to build something special, so we take care to do it well. Reminds me of when I started hosting events during Lockdown. I retired from teaching grade school to create an in-person event business during the most illegal time in history to be social. Against all odds I did it, and have been hosting events ever since. Here’s what one man had to say after the first one I held: “The NYC team has been more active than ever thanks to a tremendous influx of energy from Papi Knox . The group is growing more tightly knit and organized as we grow in numbers. “That team was about 30 men strong when I met them. A small multi-millionaire network in NY with a lot of promise. About 15 showed up to the event. Two years later they are 197 stronger, bolder, and more powerful than ever. Last year I hosted an event with them with 50+ men in attendance. Here’s to what Brotherhood Wednesday transforms into next. For now it’s Wednesday. Join us for a profound conversation on emotional control.
