Life changes. But only if you make it change. Two years ago this week I was homeless. Two years ago this week a girl tried to trap me with a baby that was not mine. Two years ago this week I cut the umbilical cord with my mom. Two years ago this week was the worst time of my life. Yet I got through with three simple words. Make. Haste. Slowly. A discipline mantra. On the surface I was in hell. In reality my day-to-day never changed. I had a job to do. Acquaintances. Responsibilities. Brothers counting on me. Most would feel sorry for themselves. I chose a different route. Rather then let the depression become me. I fought to become the BEST POWERFUL SUCCESSFUL VERSION OF MYSELF. Two years later I have an apartment. Moving into 4 bedroom 4.5 bath house. Got a girlfriend that would beat any girl that would dream of trapping me. We celebrate 1-year this week. Have a healthy relationship with my mom. Grateful for my health as I grow stronger every day. That is because my life changed. Because I made it change. I was angry in hell. I saw things in myself and others that were broken. So I DECIDED to change them.I decided to change how I viewed them. They weren’t problems. They were opportunities to shine. Whatever hardship you have now is the foundation. For your come up brother. If you are in hell. Do not stop. Keep moving. We are waiting to hear how you beat the Devil. Must be merciless against the Devil: Ruthless Relentless Remorseless enough to rise above the feelings that keep you poor so you can finally LIVE FREE with peace. Life changes when you take the first step in putting yourself first. Are you ready to take charge? https://knoxuniversity.com/take-charge Keep moving forward, — Papi Knox |
