He’s such a cry baby

Friend, yesterday 100+ people tuned into the live session.

They had Great stories to tell, and were able to take the lesson and apply them in their own business.

It was really cool.

Someone almost made me cry with her vulnerability on a topic that affects me too. Helped her craft a wonderful new marketing headline as a result.

The feedback so far is exciting. Gotta start helping in these group sessions more often.

Reason why it was so impacting?

I gave everyone a different way to frame how they see themselves and their business.

Everyone expected me to come up with clever ways to talk about their work.

If you were there, the first things people talked about was “what they do”, and “how they do” it.

Each time I had to cut them off, and ask the real question they missed…

Who do you serve?

{Your name} marketing has nothing to do with you, what you do, and everything to do who you do it for… who you choose to serve.

Your people are the audience, and when you build a positive relationship with them, they’ll support you. They’ll invest in you.

It’s why I relate my approach to dating and friendship when I can. Business is about relationships first. Master relationship best practices and you’re golden.

When you meet someone, do you talk about you or do you take the time to learn about the new person in your life?

Do you help them do what you want to do, or do you take the time to help them do what they want to do?

Even when they don’t know that they’re stuck, do you hit them over the head with answer or do you help them explore the hidden problem and realize their own ability to overcome it?

This weekend, try this exercise to help you understand where you stand with your market.

Ask yourself this:

What percentage of your work is just you talking about you, your products/services and asking for a sale?

What you find may scare you, but I promise it’s all OK.

You’re not alone, and I’m gonna help you along.

Message me with what you find.

I’ll get to work in showing you how to start making changes like I did for people live on the call.

Be well,
Max!

P.S. Tuesday I have spots available for Strategy Sessions. I promise not to cry during the call.

Instead, let’s help you craft the stories that resonate with the people who want and need your help.

5 spots left.

Talk with you then.
