I’ma put this into the ether and hope it spreads.

#NoMinutiae2016

In the new year, let’s leave minutiae behind. It’s been causing you indecision, and worse, inaction for way too long.

Kick it out and don’t let Should Syndrome rule you.

You know that case of asking should questions…

“Should I do this?” “Should I do that?” Should? Should? Should?

And why not?

You’ll gain time and energy back to focus on taking massive action.

Becoming fearless in making decisions.

It’s not gonna happen overnight, though I wish it would at the stroke of Midnight.

What can we do then?

Next time Should Syndrome starts bubbling…

Do both (or all options) – Assuming the options don’t contradict each other or distract you from doing either well, do both. Those experiences show what’s right for you and ensures the results you want.

Ask for help –  Make the habit to reach out to accountability partners, mentors and coaches, and even friends and family. Dig deep and talk about the underlying concerns directly so you get the best feedback to move past indecision.

Hire someone – Something keeping you awake night-after-night? Time to hire someone who can fix it today. If you don’t like it, don’t do it. Hire a virtual assistant to take it off your hands, or invest in an expert to tackle it. You can even trade your services you like doing with someone who can solve it for you. You deserve sleepless nights, let someone who knows better resolve your toughest problems.

That’s what you really want isn’t it a resolution, especially this time of year.
Minutiae is holding you back for having the results that move you forward. So hold minutiae back too, in 2015.

Leave it where you keep all your past moments from the last 365 days.

Those leave-behinds are a part of you, and make you awesome, but they won’t help you rise to the next level of your best self.

Ready or not, let’s go…

We’ve done all we could for 2015, and it’s the best we had to give. Now it’s time to do this annual ride in 2016.

Looking forward to seeing you there and working with you to make it the next best year in your life.
