Don’t let anyone ignore your subject lines (or how to make your friends insanely jealous of your email open rates)

Quick question:

“How do I increase my open rates? I don’t know how to do it without being negative in the subject line.”

1 – You don’t have to be negative to get someone’s attention. Ever say “ice cream” in front of kids?

2 –  You won’t learn anything from your open rates. At best they’re useful for finding out how well your email tool reaches people’s inbox and not their SPAM filter.

3 – Last time I checked, your bank doesn’t cash “open rates”.

They do cash checks still.

Checks you will earn when you put a link to your paid products in each email instead of being a tease that hides the answers to your customer’s problems.

Now I’m not blind to the power of subject lines, so dig this.

I use a few

Subject Line Generators that

no one else seems to use.

Am I extremely clever? Nope.

It’s criminal that no one else is thinking this way. BUT since no one else does, you can apply it to your next message and instantly stand out in your reader’s inbox. Their curiosity will drive them to click.

Boom. More people opening your messages than ever before.

One of the most visited sites on the Internet (known for insanely high click rates) keeps readers glued to their updates for hours at a time, using this same technique.

Meaning, when you apply it you’ll get HIGHER open rates.

It works for me.

Could work for you.
