“I don’t know how to write well!”
^ That’s what I don’t hear so often.
“I like what you do Max!, and I can see how it works, but”:
“I don’t know how to write well!”
“I don’t speak English, it’s not my language so I can’t do what you do.”
“I didn’t study English in college, so I can’t do what you do.”
“I don’t have time to study writing and invest in courses like you did.”
Here’s the truth. “Writing well” has nothing to do with writing.
I didn’t study English. It’s true I invested in writing courses, but haven’t applied much of it.
See writing like I do is about one thing.
Communication.
It’s about making sure people understand what you know so they feel comfortable to go another day with you in their inbox OR better yet click for more advanced lessons that you can teach them.
Communication trumps “writing well”.
If you can talk, you can communicate.
If you can do a video and send that to you reader, you can communicate with them.
If you can record your voice, transcribe it, and send it in an email, you can communicate.
Want to learn sharp communications skills?
Never study English.
Watch your favorite personalities and characters on TV, radio, and on stage (musicians/actors/comedians.etc.)
How do they communicate their message so you understand it?
Learn to communicate like them. You’ll start hearing people ask you how YOU learned to “write so well”.
In the meantime, join me next week at this workshop.
It’s about how to COMMUNICATE so people know, like, and trust you.
There’s no mention of English, writing or esoteric copywriting history.
It’s all plain conversation about how to heard and be seen so you can get known and get clients.
Sound good?
Get your butt to the show then:
Be well,
Max!
