Ever find it hard to talk about race, sex, gender, disability, in private, let alone to make it part of your marketing?
Well so do my friends the Copy Chief, Kevin Rogers, and the Podcast Mogul, Jonathan Rivera.
At least they did… before they talked about it with me.
Kevin asked me to lead a discussion on race relations on his podcast Copy Chief Radio.

Because when you’re aiming to convert your readers, you need to sympathize and empathize with them.
The simplest thing that binds us all is what we see in the streets, on the news, and experience every day. Globally, it all stems from our sense of identity.
So we all deal with are forces of racism, sexism, ageism, disability, etc that we can put in our marketing to connect on a deeper level with our customers.
We’ve been seeing it in famed Copy ads for years, and now I’m reminding people how to use it in their marketing.
In 20 minutes I break it down for my mates, and we recorded the conversation.
You too can join the conversation by asking questions in the comment thread, and applying it to your own marketing without offending yourself and your readers.
I’ve been living and talking about this “issues” for 28 years, and don’t find it hard. Likewise, listeners are already calling this the most calming conversation on race and sexism they’ve ever heard.

I’ll never be convinced it ever has to be hard to make a positive, constructive impact in the world, by simply being yourself.
Talk with you more in the thread comments.
Be well,
Max!
