My friend writes for Yahoo’s front page and if it goes viral he earns extra bucks.
He learned quickly that people LOVE reading about sharks, so when he wants a BIG paycheck that’s where he starts. Since he already loves sharks, it’s easy and fun to write.
Apparently, the White Shark Conservancy that tags and tracks sharks… love his Yahoo articles. Saying that their well-written, well-researched, such a joy to read and helping the experts teach the truth about sharks.
They’re so thrilled, they want to bring him out on a boat to tag a Great White Shark this summer.
Shark fans start gushing. His geeking out on sharks led him to a dream opportunity to get in the water and actually touch Jaws.
I hear stories like this all the time, but this reminds me of the best comical advice I’ve ever heard.
“Treat Every Day Like It’s Shark Week”
Seize the day by living BIG. Or write what you passionately know and believe. You never know who is reading, and how it’s impacting them because 95% of your list is gonna be quiet.
But the 5% who engage like the White Shark Conservancy will show you exactly how it impacts them with replies and buys. And the occasional chance to dive deeper into your subject
Today is your Shark Week.
Are you gonna copy and paste a dull template that has NOTHING to do with you? OR are you gonna write with passion to strike your readers curiosity, remind them of their secret desires, while teaching them something new and driving up engagement.
For help with this sign up for a Strategy Session. I have 3 spots left for July.
Be well,
Max!
P.S. I’m doing less partnering these days, which is opening me up to consult more. I’ve changed the setup a bit too. Learn more here:
