Workshop or Webinar? … Webinar or Workshop?

What’s the ACTUAL difference between a “workshop” and “webinar”?

Answer:

Nothing.

What’s the PERCEIVED difference between a “workshop” and a “webinar”?

Answer:

Everything.

You disagree?

OK.

You’ve been exposed to so many webinars, and your audience has seen even more than you.

They know most webinars are lousy.

Offering little to no valuable information, going on and on about who the person leading it is, and fumbling into a weak sales pitch that won’t help them do what they actually want to do.

About 80% of webinars unfortunately (Pareto’s Principle).

Go through that enough times, the word “webinar” triggers irritability, defeat and defense mechanisms that make it harder for you to make your point convincingly.
The solution… switch the terms so that you appeal to the sense of the new and novel.
They open their inbox to a set of “webinar invitations” and then they see your workshop invite.

Immediately you stand out in a refreshing way.

Meanwhile, don’t follow that lousy model described above.

It’s awful and helps NO ONE. Not the one hosting it or the person who suffers through attending it, if they even bother.

My workshop model is different from what I do for my partners still.

Why is that?

I have a different business model from most so naturally my workshops would be different.

So to see what a Max! Workshop is like, you’ll have join me live to understand.

Thursday at Noon– 7 Ways You’re Driving Away Your Best Customers (and how to fix it in one day).

For now, know the basics. My workshops do not:

– have sales pitches. NOPE! Doesn’t suit my business model. So I focus on supporting the audience based on what they tell me they need to hear.
– have me introducing myself for more than 30 seconds. NOPE! You already know the host. Why be so repetitive silly?
– have me talking about my own successes. NOPE! No one cares. Let’s focus on specific case studies to describe how you can do the same things I’ve helped others do.
– have FREE replays. NOPE! Ya gotta pay to play, and in this case, the investment is your time.
– have me talking for an hour. NOPE! Presentations need to be less than 20 minutes (the TRUE span of someone’s attention). So as long as you say what you have to say in 15 minutes, people will actually learn and are more likely to implement (isn’t that cool?).

Yahoo!

Plus that means more time for Q&A, hot seats and getting to know more about your audience.

That’s that.

Thursday at Noon. Live, in 15 minutes or less.

You’ll see how I do things a bit differently, and actually work people to reach the goals they have.

In general you’ll learn how to make the simplest tweaks that lead to profound impact on your results. Even play on their site to craft sexy copy in real-time.

Thus, helping your Facebook Ads, website design, email messages, offline networking, and even dating life.

If you’re happy with your conversions and pre-Valentine’s Day romance, then you’ll be bored by what I say.

Do your thing, and relax in your favorite way.

Meanwhile, live guests will hop on the call and take responsibility for reaching thesucces they want.

It’s gonna be fun.

And since it’s on Blab, we may hear from a random person or silly mouk hopping on the call just because.

Entertainment all around.

See you Thursday!

Be well,
Max!
