I’m an old man.
Lived a lot lives.
My sense of time, long dissolved.
Noticed many a disturbing things along the way.
Including that people are OK with selling their integrity for what I consider a cheap rate.
There are folks who will take back their X-wife for the promise she’ll bring money to the table, a measly $500K. Wow you must be proud.
There are folks who will go on national TV to tell lies… er I mean apologies, for the sake of keeping their career in the limelight. Wow you must be proud.
There are folks who will act a fool on camera for the sake of millions of views, and a few dollars. Wow you must be proud.
I could go on, but you got the point.
Hollow pursuits lead to cheap results that cheapen you.
Your spirit deserves better.
In the future, there will be more bankrupted men and women chasing lofty goals that leave em feeling defeated.
Imagine putting your best effort to only be rewarded with money.
Takes more than cash to fulfill you.
In that same future, a special class of men and women will emerge.
They are honest with themselves and each other, all the time.
They build Great things with one another, and only allow like-minded people into their ranks.
They are unapologetic titans who never sell their souls for something as petty as views or Societal validation.
That’s the future.
How we get there is to live by those principles RIGHT NOW.
My since of time long dissolved, but I know for sure I’m living in that future with my kin.
