It’s a Q&A kind of day.
When you serve enough people, you hear the same questions again and again.
For me it’s this one:
“If you email everyday, won’t people get frustrated?”
Response:
“Your customers won’t get frustrated. The mouk will.”
I recommend emailing every day because it works.
We’ll count it down:
6 – The more you message, the more people know, like, and trust you like a good friend or family member. Result: They remember what you say in spite of their busy lives, they consume your content, they listen to your podcast, and they show up to your events.
5 – The more you message, the more you sell your products and services directly. Result: Increased revenue, newer testimonials, and more people sleeping better because of you.
4 – The more you message, the more readers reach out and share their experience. Result: Deeper relationship with the people you serve, and growing understanding of their hopes, fears and biases. (No one will know them better than you. No One!)
3 – The more you message, the more people see you as a thought leader instead of “just an expert.” Result: You stand out as being more knowledgeable than other experts in your field who only message when they have an announcement and need something from their readers. (Why are they so needy?)
2 – The more you message, the more appeals you can speak to about you and your work. Result: you convert higher sales than typical Internet marketing benchmarks. (Think: 3x to 5x times more, so 5%+ consistently.)
OK Max! Sounds cool, but why would my customers stick around?
Why?
Because you have their full attention.
Every day you’re leading the conversation about their biggest pain and top priority.
Do you think they’ll want to stop, sit and listen to what you have to say?
Hell yeah!
You’re talking about them, in their language, with your heartfelt words.
And right now they badly need and want help, so they consume every piece of information on their problem so they can solve it.
We’ve all had our fair share of info-binging when we’re stressed out about something.
Here’s who you’ll see on your list when you start emailing every day:
Action-takers who take your free material and actually use it. Then they thank you for your help, as they tell you their results. So you can both share in the win. 🙂
(My favorite people.)
Determiners will reach out to work with you immediately. They can’t wait another day and need the problem solved now. Serve them well and they become people who make a custom of investing in you. (I think they’e called “customers.”)
Fence-sitters need you to prove yourself. When you demonstrate what you know, how it works, and consistent results, they’ll side with you for sure. (Some will complain, not everyone is a customer as you know.)
Finally, the Mouk. A person frustrated by daily emails.
Why?
Because they never cared about working with you or buying from you in the first place.
Your topic is not a priority for the mouk. Who even knows how the mouk showed up?
One day they were just there. Maybe because of your lead magnet, opt-in freebie thingy?
Mouks love getting things for free, not using it, and then complaining.
Notice how I don’t have an opt-in offer? Still reached 22 new subscribers in the past 5 days though (without a promotion strategy).
Mouks stick around, ask dumb questions, eat up your time, complain the most, tell you how to run your business (even though they don’t have one), troll your best content and annoy your audience members.
I don’t like them.
And the #1 reason you email every. single. day…
Write every day to frustrate, annoy and drive the mouks on your list away.
Result: Fewer mouks.
Works for me.
It’s not for everyone, but definitely can help anyone.
I practice what I preach. I message every day.
Except weekends.
So enjoy your Saturday and Sunday, spend it with people you love. Keep them close.
Work is fun for people like us, but sometimes it keeps us away from people that love us in spite of what do for them.
That’s irreplaceable.
So bask in it please. They’ll appreciate it.
See ya Monday,
Max!
