| When you vouch for someone you stick your head and your name out for them. If they do well, it falls on you because you’re praiseworthy by association. Likewise, when they do ugly, it falls on you because you’re guilty by association. That’s who you keep close is the most important decision you will ever make. Do not be careless with who you choose, and why. I bring this up as I’m setting up new business deals with new parties. The energy is that special type of tense. We’re apprehensive, exhilarated, hype, concerned. Reminds me 2 years ago where I was careless. Started a project with a person who I thought could handle his own weight. Why not make some cash together, get paid doing what we both do well. It was a no-brainer, but the whole time I was concerned I would fuck it up somehow. Turns out I was wrong. I was so stressed of not living up to my word that I moved with excellent perfection. He fucked up instead. Since then I realized why everything went sour.It was staring at me the whole time. Something I’ll tell you if you ask me inside Brother’s Keeper. I would have seen it if I had done my due diligence instead all I saw was green for cash.
