| Me and some cats are each starting a new business. Treating it as a side hustle with the ultimate goal of selling our businesses in a few years. A few brothers are hesitant. Saying: “I’m not even sure what in my interests can be monetized. Does anyone have recommendations on researching the profitability of niches?” and more like it. Excuses because they overthink a simple concern. Admittedly… I feel the same. Do I really want to take on clients in a new niche just because I’m good at what they want to pay me for? Probably not. Thing is the focus is not the workload. The focus is on the other side of the work. I get to take care of myself better if I take this next step. I get to move to bigger house in a new state sooner, and pay off medical bills with one check. Not to mention start making BIGGER MOVES with my brothers. I get to take care of my family better if I take this next step too. I get to retire the parents, travel aboard, and choose what I REALLY want to do later if I take this next step. See. I made it about what I want. Not how I feel. I want options. This is in the way of getting options. No options til I eat my vegetables as it were. It does not have be the right move. It just has to get done. You will learn what works and does not as you go. All the while making money whether you make mistakes or knock it out of the park. You can’t lose. You may be going through a similar challenge right now. Zoom out. Get a 50K ft perspective. See the BIGGER PICTURE.
