A violinist played for 45 minutes in the New York subway. A handful of people stopped, a couple clapped, and the violinist raised about $30 in tips.
No one knew this violinist was Joshua Bell, one of the best in the world. That day he played one of the most intricate pieces ever written with a violin worth 3.5 million dollars.
Two days prior, he sold out a Boston theatre where the seats averaged about $100.
So what?
Many lessons to glean from this, and the most poignant is what Iโm exploring this year in everything that I do.
That being extraordinary in an ordinary environment limits you.
If you shine among normies you will be ignored.
That is why we adopt the Take Charge Mindset.
So that we are not ignored, invisible, or impotent with making a strong impact on the world.
There are brilliantly talented people everywhere who arenโt receiving the recognition and reward they deserve.
You may be one of them.
If only you decided to Take Charge confidently to leave the normies and run with the wolf pack that sees your raw power and puts it to good use for Greater goals.
Only then can you stop being a lone, dying wolf, and being to thrive.
Your gut is telling you something.
Listen to it if itโs telling you where you are isnโt enough.
Go where you are appreciated and valued.
Know Your Worth.
Weโre ready for you when you decide to fulfill your purpose.
Til then we wish you well in the subways with Joshua Bell.
Take Charge or Be Ignored,
