I keep bringing up a point about the difference between INSPIRational and ASPIRational brands.
Similar but very different.
Inspirational brand move you to be Great with provocative marketing.
Aspirational brands give you the blueprint and the example to be Great. You are moved to action because you SEE yourself in the brand’s leadership.
Most brands are inspirational.
They move you to action.
I consider Windows, Casio, Toyota as inspirational. They get the job done for you, and you need nothing more.
Aspirational brands are few these days because they require the brand leaders to BE who they say they are.
Apple, Rolex, Porsche are aspirational brands. They become part of your lifestyle. They move you to want to BE better.
By end of year, it is important to recognize the difference, and only align with aspirational brands with leaders who LIVE their life, not talk about it while the cameras are rolling.
Already, we’ve seen many ex-spurts exposed as fakes, hypocrites, frauds.
Men and women lacking integrity, unable to outperform their peak days since they relied entirely on Internet popularity for validation.
All while a few leaders are ever consistent because they are their own clients.
They use their products and services to improve their own life.
Can you imagine if Elon drove Mini’s and not Teslas?
They did it before they built a brand around it. They will do it even if their brand no longer existed.
