Last time I trained in precision driving was about 8 years ago.
If you ever get a chance to do one-day a week or a full regimen on driving cars in all types of conditions, I recommend it. Great skill to have.
And if nothing else, it’s fucking fun to be in dope cars, spinning round a track, challenging yourself and your friends.
Anywhats…
Been nostalgic about my time on the Sonoma track near San Francisco, California.
Going through the course, the instructor said something that changed the way I drive and made me 10 times faster than any Fast & Furious character laced with Nos.
I’ll paraphrase for clarity:
When in the vehicle, imagine the front window split in half horizontally. Now when you drive never look below that imaginary line.
Das it.
Helps you avoid traffic jams, car crashes, and my favorite applies to your general motion in life.
Same goes for growing on Twitter with a network.
By teaming up with like-minded people you see what value they add, how many followers they got, and how them promoting you will help you grow.
To wins faster, you got to start with the visibility to see your destination.
