What separates winners from everyone else?
A champion mindset based in a vivid vision.
In a literal senseβ visibility.
Reminds me of the time I raced two new cars with a 13-year-old ride, and won.
It was me in a 2008 Pontiac G6 versus a 2020 BMW 3 and 2020 VW Jetta.
Fast cars.
Faster than mine which needed a new catalytic converter at the time.
Yet with all that German engineering, you’re not guaranteed a win like you’d think.
Cue Dom Toretto saying:
“What’s under the hood doesn’t matter. What matters is whose behind the wheel.”
Hollywood cheesy-ness that’s absolutely true.
Back to the race.
We’re speeding out of New York City weaving through midday traffic as we head North.
Everyone else going the speed limit, and us mad men taking bold risks with our cars and lives.
Don’t try this at home.
They had a quarter mile headstart and superior engines, but they didn’t know what I learned long ago in precision driving school.
That winning is about vision.
Seeing ahead and make the right moves up until you make it.
As it goes with business, dating, finances, it also goes, with racing.
As in having clear visibility to see the direct path to victory.
While my competitors focused on pure speed, I noticed gaps where I could fly without having to brake.
Less brake means more ground I’m covering. More braking for them means more moves their missing.
I win.
They lose.
Did you expect any other outcome?
Same goes with you.
You’re missing out on opportunities because you do not see miles ahead of you. Limited visibility in the real world is when cars brake fast to avoid a crash.
If they’re luck they stop and have to start again on their destination.
More than likely you get a crash though, which stops your movement altogether.
Feel like you’re crashing into walls or being limited, it’s because your vision is hazy.
Get some clarity by talking it through with people who can see your blindspots, so that you move with confidence and can go as fast as you’d like.
Ya dig?
I opened my new space for these kind of talks. It’s open to men and women.
Since I want us all to level up and improve ourselves, our families, and our communities.
It starts with seeing the road ahead clearly, with the best GPS guiding you, aka your network.
That’s when you can beat Goliath giants who have every advantage, using only a sling shot.
Talk more inside.
