I LOVE commercials.

Always have.

Always will.

Which is why these days I’m disappointed that so few marketing teams try hard to tell Great stories in advertising.

Back in the day, they did. My favorite brand on this subject may be Volkswagen.

They have so many groundbreaking ads that helped them gain attention and convince buyers to try their quirky small car.

The odds were against them, but because they leaned into their unique story they are not a top 3 car manufacturer.

Success leaves clues.

Same is true for you and your personal or business brand.

It has a unique story, a code, a Mission.

Learn into what makes you unique to position yourself for success like VW.

Great way to practice and hone your approach is with Twitter.

Test out your ideas in tweets and see what works. Whatever works double-down on going forward. What doesn’t work, delete and keep testing. Within a week you will hit the spot.
