๐Ÿ“ Which country has the best classical composers?

๐Ÿ“ Itโ€™s Showtime Saturday. Enjoy๐Ÿ“

That’s the question my colleague asked.

Instinctively I thought Japan.

The hidden gem of composers dating back hundreds of years to the Baroque period, and well into the modern day with Hayao Miyazaki animations brought to life by the music of Japanese conductors.

To make this a more dynamic choice I shared a favorite composition of mine.

Seiji Ozawa’s rendition of “Rhapshody in Blue” originally by George Gershwin.

It’s a classical take on jazz, by a masterful Japanese composer.

I think it’s, in a word, Fun.

Enjoy:

Always Amused๐Ÿ“,
Knox
